Arran Chemical Company
Arran is a privately owned specialty chemical company located in Athlone, Ireland approximately
two hours west of Dublin. The current manufacturing program includes a range of flavor
and fragrance intermediates, based on aromatic aldehydes, oxipenes and pentenone chemistry,
with new products in development. The range of pharmaceutical intermediates includes alkylamines and hydrochlorides, mandelic acid derivatives and an extensive range of chiral reagents, catalysts and other synthons. Specialty products for other applications include “designer acrylates”,
pheromones, organometallics and imidazole derivatives.
