Southwest Research Institute provides custom services for medicinal chemistry, formulation development, API synthesis, small-scale CTM for microencapsulation-based, controlled release drug delivery technologies for oral, injectable, implantable, nasal, & transdermal platforms. As well as GLP analytical & bioanalytical services and spray drying and other particle forming and polymorph controlling capabilities. We use Xray, Raman, ESEM and DSC for polymorph characterization. SwRI has dedicated cGMP & cGLP facilities for clinical API and drug product preparation.
